The Sportsfest has started. And boy, it was so fun! The preparations for the event is very enjoyble. Despite some inefficiencies from the Sports Committee, the people's enthusiasm and perseverance did not stop Kalay with enormous energy for the phenomenal outcome of the games.
Friday, it was scheduled that the Cheerdance competitions would be held at the Opening Ceremony. The teams are now all geared up for it, until one cheerdancer from the Dilawins got injured leading to cancelled Cheerdance competitions that day. It was replaced by an All-Star Basketball Game by the Dilawin/Asuldier vs. C3 Green Team/ Wads Up BA?. The crowd was on the edge of their seats. They were expecting that this fight would lead to the victory of the latter. They were the guys who usually practice in the court. All with their dripping dews of perspiration, they are slapped outright as the Dilawin-Asuldier combo with the lead of Felix came with a terrific play, overpowering the latter.
It was the evening that we did not expect a lot of things would happen. The Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest were introduced and of course again we are cheering. The battle of the cheers are so overwhelming. There's dobolyu, eidies, UP, biey biey! for wads up ba! Ah (clap 3x) sul (clap 3x) ger ger (clap 3x) for Asuldier. Go c3, go c3! go go go, imitating uste for the C3 Green Team... Dilawin did not have that phenomenal cheer, who cares anyway haha.
The event was done. We are so happy to see Renel, Niccolo, Abigail and Camille be stunningly great for the presentation. They're just awesome.
The teams get prepared for the cheerdance competitions and of course the Asuldier family of cheerdancers are really trying their best to finish and polish on time until... a Sports Com representative told to each team to stop practicing, and the Cheerdance competitions was delayed to December 5.
What the f*!? are they thinking? It's exams week that time. And all we had is our brains full of angst and the mood of the day turned really low. A lot were crying. Emotions are really getting ahead of the people. You won't see any people smiling. (well except me) haha.
The guys need this. The momentum of the events would come into a halt if it would be delayed till that day. But due to the leadership of Mcdo! Woo... go Mcdo. We insisted what we want.
One day before November 28, that's Monday, we knew it. The Sportscom won't facilitate any Cheerdance competition on Tuesday. That's why Mcdo and others facilitated and took cover for it. The stunning Cheerdance comepetitions was held on Tuesday. Successful. Unforgettable.
Here's an overview of the Cheerdance competitions.
Wads Up Ba. The team to beat. All the components of the cheerdance was used. Just that the impact of their steps did not really match up others. The excitement for it before was not seen in their dance that day. They were graceful and all, but it looked so unpolished.
C3 Green Team. The Green Team came up with just basic steps and small "funny" stunts. It did not match up the Red Team's though. The girls were graceful enough but the guys are uber-shame. The guys just played it and did not seem to take it seriously. Overall, it was alright with all the glitches but it was fun to see them.
Dilawin. The Yellow Team surprised us all, because this team really did not show their steps until last minutes. We are very happy of the outcome. Some of their phenomenal acts were their couple thing, that's cute. The stunts were executed gracefully and clean. Dilawin's cheerdance threatened all teams. It matched Wads Up BA's perf. And it's just a surprise. That time, if Asuldier won't pull a great perf, it's Yellow.
Asuldier. Here come's Asuldier with their fatigue blue shirts. The starting part was boring. if it weren't for the cheers, it won' get noticed. Not that bad, but so simple. But all after that, it's all fine. The dancers were graceful, snappy, they executed all their moves nicely. The stunts are very promising. The girls did awesome covering up for some glitches of the boys. The phenomenal part was the double pendulum stunt, there are a lot of stunts that are good. Especially their Uh-uh part. And it was all clean and smooth. The Asuldier did not just match up all other team's perf but outlasted and outwitted all of them.
Conclusion: It is just rightful for the Asuldier to cop the win. It's plain obvious. No personal bias.
